About Me

My name is Carlo De Michele, but everyone calls me Jace!
I'm a Game Designer with a strong passion for Combat Design and User Experience. I started my journey by moving away from home to chase my dream and explore how video games communicate through stories, levels, and combat.
My love for video games was born in those days when my father and I tried to solve the puzzles in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword and in the moments spent with friends on the earliest versions of Minecraft. Over time, this passion grew stronger through experiences like The Witcher 3 and Dying Light, which made me realize that this was my path.
I'm currently conducting personal research on UX, analyzing pacing and player engagement. Additionally, I'm working on an action game developed in Unreal Engine 5 called The Negative Edge.
The games that represent me the most? God of War, Escape from Tarkov, and The Legend of Zelda.
